Be the person you want to be around when the going gets tough.

• Steady
• Calm
• Collected
• And highly capable

Not...

• Angry
• Volatile
• Reactive
• Or ill-fully violent

When an eagle faces a storm, it doesn’t try to fight against the wind, facing it mad, with frustration and anger, struggling as it puts forth all its effort. The eagle simply stretches out its wings, and let’s the strong winds lift him higher and higher. Finally he rises above the storm.

Maybe you’re worried about a medical report, your child, or your relationship. And you can’t sleep at night because of the anxiety, worry and concern.

When the winds are blowing and things come against you, it’s easy to get frustrated and to start fighting and to try to change what you were never meant to change.

We are often fighting battles that are not ours.

Be an eagle instead.

What is your test now will soon become your testimony. Shake off the discouragement. Shake off the self-pity. Shake off the anger and self-deprecating thoughts. And with your sail of higher thinking set, let those winds blow against you so that you can shift directions and thrust forward into the fullness of your destiny.
